Vodafone is one of the world’s most recognisable brands and it is of utmost importance to keep it positioned as the number one choice in Ireland for quality, value and innovative product offerings. The key to our relationship with Vodafone is keeping the communications relevant to their audience, whether it’s a textaholic 20-something, a GAA-mad Corkman or a busy executive, catching snippets of the news on her phone between meetings. By the very nature if its business, Vodafone must be fleet-of-foot, and so must we. By keeping up to date with the latest trends in mobile telephony as well as staying on top of what’s hot in the media, we are able to bring Vodafone’s message to exactly the right people.
An example of this is the innovative partnership we helped forge between Vodafone and The Gloss, for the Look the Business fashion event. Aimed directly at businesswomen, this unique event allows meaningful networking in a relaxed and fun environment. As main sponsors, Vodafone are able to provide interesting insight into how women work, network, and spend time outside of work, and to make a relevant connection directly with this important audience.
Drury also works closely with Vodafone on all major consumer product and services launches. In 2010, Drury delivered the PR activations around such high-profile launches as Cheer Up Your Top Up (featuring X-Factor's Olly Murs); iPhone for Vodafone (featuring rockabilly star Imelda May), The Gloss Magazine's Look the Business fashion show, and Broadband in a Box. In addition, we rolled out a public relations campaign for World of Difference, Vodafone Foundation's volunteering programme. We work to ensure that all communications are continually representing the very strong Vodafone brand, reflecting its ethos, and building on its important strap-line - "Power to You".
