Drury announces board changes

Drury, the leading PR and communications consultancy, today announces that Martha Kavanagh has been invited to join its Board of Directors. 

An experienced communications professional with nine years agency and industry experience, Martha specialises in corporate PR and reputation management. Her current clients include McDonald’s Restaurants of Ireland, Tourism Ireland, The Doyle Collection, Irish Bank Resolution Corporation and Dublin City Business Improvement District. 

Prior to joining Drury in 2006, Martha spent two years with Enterprise Ireland in their Paris office, where she advised Irish exporting companies in the ICT, telecoms and media sector on their entry strategy to the French market

A graduate of DCU, she holds a first class Honours MA in International Relations and a BA in Applied Languages. She is a fluent French speaker. Martha has twice been the recipient of a Public Relations Institute of Ireland (PRII) Award for Excellence – in 2008, for her work with CRH and the Simon Communities of Ireland and again in 2010, for her work with McDonald’s Ireland. 

A member of BBDO Worldwide, Drury offers services in the areas of corporate and financial PR, consumer and lifestyle PR, public affairs, digital media, reputation management, public consultation, media training and internal communications. Established in 1989, the company employs 21 full time staff and is an affiliate of Porter Novelli and Fishburn Hedges in the UK.
